Awake Purified Drinking Water has reaffirmed its commitment to the Cardiothoracic Centre at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital with a GH¢300,000 donation. This contribution, covering the third and fourth quarters of 2024, continues the brand’s support for Ghanaians with heart conditions.
This year, Kasapreko went a step further by assisting the Centre to acquire a new electrocardiogram (ECG) machine after the facility requested support in replacing a broken unit. Madam Linda Aidoo, Brands Manager at Kasapreko PLC, highlighted the brand’s commitment: “We’re grateful for Ghanaians’ support of Awake Purified Drinking Water and the ‘One4Life’ initiative. By increasing our funding and donating essential medical equipment, we aim to make a lasting difference in the lives of more Ghanaians, particularly children with heart conditions. We remain committed to this partnership and encourage continued patronage, knowing that a portion of each purchase supports this vital cause.”

Prof. Mark Mawutor Tettey, Executive Director of the Cardiothoracic Centre, expressed gratitude: “The rising costs of quality healthcare make corporate support crucial. This generous donation from Awake will help patients who cannot afford treatment and ease the financial burden of maintaining and upgrading our facilities. The ECG machine will further enhance diagnostics and improve patient care.
The “One4Life” initiative continues to make a tangible difference in the lives of people. Awake Purified Drinking Water’s dedication to giving back remains a strong example of corporate social responsibility, with a lasting impact on the community.
