November 24th, 2023, marked a crucial day as Awake Purified Drinking Water undertook a significant corporate social responsibility (CSR) endeavor in the Ayensuano Constituency, Eastern Region of Ghana, by providing mechanized boreholes in key locations.
Awake Purified Drinking Water, a premium charity-driven drinking water brand proudly produced by Kasapreko PLC, has consistently prioritized the welfare of people. Under the One4Life initiative, the brand has spearheaded numerous CSR activities, emphasizing health-related issues nationwide and making a tangible difference in people’s lives.
This November, the brand installed mechanized boreholes in Oko Mante, Teacher Mante, and Anum Apapam communities in collaboration with the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ayensuano Constituency, Hon. Teddy Safori Addi, in the esteemed presence of the local chiefs.
This collaborative effort aims to match local demands for sustainable development and community well-being under the Pandemic Preparedness Partnership between Kasapreko PLC and GIZ Ghana. The installation of mechanized boreholes would function as critical lifelines, ensuring clean water access in these locations, which was strengthened by improving healthcare facilities and establishing educational initiatives.
